It's becoming more and more likely that I will be
leaving sometime Wednesday, with a truckload of emergency supplies, and
traveling toward Pass Christian, Mississippi where we have an
organization that's been in place since shortly after Katrina. This
organization has been rebuilding people's homes and providing them with
food and shelter during the building process.
They are preparing for the worst with Gustav. My plan, if they do indeed take a hit and need help, is to arrive Wednesday with supplies and stay until Sunday. If you would like to contribute to help purchase the supplies and provide on-the-ground assistance, you can send a check to:
